Hsiyun Wing

Music seems to have been an irreplaceable and inseparable part of Hsiyun Wu Wing(巫熹芸) since the beginning of the time. Born in 2001 in Kaohsiung, Taiwan, Hsiyun started learning how to play the piano at the age of four and already started performing on stage at the age of six. In 2015, Hsiyun got admitted by Pre-College of The Juilliard School with scholarship and became a student of Hung-Kuan Chen. The 17-year-old award-winning artist has held over 30 recitals at home and abroad, setting foot on United States, China, Taiwan, and many European countries. In the following year, Hsiyun was awarded “Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist” by From The Top. Hsiyun has also been invited to perform with distinguished orchestras, including Berlin Symphony Orchestra, Japan Classical Music Association Orchestra, and Kaohsiung Symphony Orchestra. Her performance of Beethoven’s Piano Concerto No.5 “Emperor” with Wuling Philharmonic blew the audience away when Hsiyun was only 13 years old. after listening to the performance at the Music Festival of Philadelphia Young Pianist Academy in August 2015. Hsiyun is currently enrolled at The Juilliard School in New York with a long-term sponsorship of Olive Leaf Foundation, and the artist was awarded “Jack Kent Cooke Young Artist” by From the Top. In May 2018, Hsiyun was selected as New York Concerti Sinfonietta’s 2018 Shining Star, and got invited to have a debut at Carnegie Hall in New York. In June of the same year, Hsiyun also recorded the first classical piano album. Hsiyun has always been passionate about and inspired by music since childhood. Wing is delivering music talent and effort in countless ways.
